Where is Novi Sad bus station, and where do city buses stop?
The intercity terminal is at Bulevar Jaše Tomića 6, according to JGSP. Nearby city stops include Železnička stanica in their names, referring to the station area. To continue into the city, use the boarding stop and direction listed in the relevant section below.
For 7B towards Detelinara and Novo naselje and 11A towards the fair, use Bulevar Jaše Tomića-Železnička stanica, about three minutes on foot from the terminal. For 4 towards the centre and Liman and 7A towards Grbavica and Telep, use Bulevar oslobođenja-Bulevar Jaše Tomića, about five minutes away. These are separate boarding stops, labelled on the map below.

How to get from Novi Sad bus station to the centre
Take 4 towards Liman 4 at Bulevar oslobođenja-Bulevar Jaše Tomića. The ride to Bulevar Mihajla Pupina-Pothodnik takes about 8 minutes; walk on to Trg slobode and the pedestrian streets. A 4 heading for Rumenački put goes away from the centre towards TPS.

Liman and the university: bus 4
For the university campus, stay on 4 to Bulevar Cara Lazara-Urbis, roughly 12 minutes after boarding. For Liman II–IV, continue along Narodnog fronta and choose the stop closest to your address. The Narodnog fronta-Okretnica terminus in Liman IV is about 25 minutes away; reaching Štrand from stops in Liman also involves a walk.

Take 7A from the same stop on Bulevar oslobođenja to Bulevar oslobođenja-Braće Ribnikar, about 8 minutes away. This is the eastern edge of Grbavica; addresses further into the neighbourhood require a walk. The next stop, Bulevar oslobođenja-Bulevar Cara Lazara, serves the southern end of the boulevard.

Detelinara: the short route on 7B
Board 7B at Bulevar Jaše Tomića-Železnička stanica; it continues via Rumenačka and Kornelija Stankovića. The ride to Kornelija Stankovića-Milenka Grčića is about 5 minutes. Northern Detelinara requires an onward walk, so check the distance to your exact address.

For Novo naselje, stay on the same 7B to Bulevar Jovana Dučića-braće Dronjak, around 11 minutes from the bus station. Both 7A and 7B are circular routes: 7A first goes through Grbavica, Liman and Telep, making the ride to this stop much longer. Check both the letter on the bus and the boarding side.

Sajmište, Novi Sad Fair and the hospital area
Take 11A from Bulevar Jaše Tomića-Železnička stanica to Hajduk Veljkova-Sajam, about 6 minutes away. The next stop, Hajduk Veljkova-Medicinski Fakultet, is closer to the medical faculty and hospital complex. Telep: 7A to Bulevar patrijarha Pavla
For northern Telep, take 7A from Bulevar oslobođenja. It runs through Liman and along Bulevar patrijarha Pavla; the ride to Bulevar patrijarha Pavla-Vršačka takes about 25 minutes. This serves the northern edge of the neighbourhood, so check the remaining walk for addresses further south.

Petrovaradin and the fortress: change in the centre
A straightforward option is 4 to Bulevar Mihajla Pupina-Pothodnik, then 3 towards Petrovaradin from the same stop. Get off at Beogradska-Lisinskog for the foot of the fortress; the climb to the fortress is on foot. These are two separate buses, and the table for line 4 does not include the transfer wait.
Paying for the city bus and planning your return
Under JGSP rules, a single ticket can be bought from the driver and covers one ride. Changing from 4 to 3 requires a separate ticket for the second bus. If you use an NSMART e-wallet, tap the card on the validator when boarding and leaving. Check current fares with the operator.
Search for your return intercity service from Novi Sad AS and check the city journey back separately: circular routes 7A/7B and stops on opposite sides of a street do not simply mirror your arrival.
